A Colorado state Senator wants to know what has happened to his prairie dog. The two-foot tall statue seems to be having the time of its life.

State Sen. Ken Gordon, D-Majority Leader, has received several pictures of his prairie dog in different locations.

The first image showed the dog in a lawn chair on a tropical beach. The most recent image showed the animal in London wearing a sweatshirt from Gordon’s alma mater, Michigan.

“The prairie dog has been to Switzerland skiing off the Matterhorn,” he said. “Been to Scotland at Saint Andrews and been to Antarctica standing with a large group of penguins.”

The dog disappeared when the session started earlier this month.

Gordon said he’s not sure who is behind the kidnapping, but he thinks it is an inside job.
